Operations Manager

Ashland LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Operations Manager to join our Composite group at our Jacksonville, AR location. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Operations function. This position will report to the Plant Manager. Description The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervise and direct activities of the Scheduler, Manufacturing Supervisors, Production Engineer and hourly personnel to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Labor relations with hourly personnel including employee opinion survey improvement, payroll and benefits issues, progressive disciplinary process and attendance issues. Hiring and training of Manufacturing Supervisors and Operators. Maintenance of operating procedures and work instructions for the operations department. Lead continuous improvement initiatives for safety, productivity and employee satisfaction. Maintain high standards for safety and housekeeping in all areas of the plant. Maintain adequate operating supplies and budget guidelines. Responsible for setting and maintaining inventory levels for raw materials and intermediates. Maintain a system to reduce inventory variances, with a focus on bulk inventories.   This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience. Qualifications In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly motivated, goal oriented strong team player. 10 years of experiencepreferred with 3-5 years of experience in a batch chemical manufacturing environment. Supervisory experiencepreferred. The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: Supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives. Experience with plant automation. Experience writing procedures and work instructions. Experience in quality control and quality issues preferred. Experience with developing and implementing safety programs is desirable. 2018-7432

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
